Eunoia

Hey Royals, welcome to yet another decade.

HEART LIKE WILDFLOWER

I hope you are blessed

with a heart like a wildflower

strong enough to rise again

after being trampled upon,

tough enough to weather

the worst of the summer storms,

and able to grow and flourish

even in the most broken places.

                                          - Nikita Gill

Eunoia is the shortest English word containing all five main vowel graphemes. It comes from the Greek word εὔνοια, meaning "well mind" or "beautiful thinking."

Other definitions would associate it's meaning with "a pure and well balanced mind", "a state of normal mental health" and "a good spirit".

It’s mid-day, you’re surrounded by friends and the sun is out. Laugher from friends fills the whole place. But something isn’t right. There is this feeling, a very uncomfortable feeling in your mind, in the pit of your stomach. You want to leave and go somewhere that is quiet, alone with your perceptions. You are being consumed. Consumed by your own thoughts.

This constant feeling of being trapped and not being able to do anything to stop it. That’s how people with mental illnesses feel constantly. It devours us. Fear eats our insides away until we are nothing and empty deep inside.

This is the state of most people at the moment, or at least most of us can relate to it because we've been there before. The fear of being judged and misunderstood continually hunt our soul. Everyone is scared of opening up to friends and family.

The way out:

To attain a stable, healthy and balanced mind- first and foremost, you have to accept that one has a problem.

-Read and learn often

-Meditate and exercise regularly

-Actively get involved in positive social activities

-Drink water and stay true to your veggies

-Fuel your passion

-Avoid stress (learn to take a break)

-Ask for help (no man is an island)

-Forgive yourself of your past mistakes

-Travel and learn about other cultures, thereby keeping your mind occupied.

Fun fact:

❥❥You can hear a blue whale's heartbeat from more than 2 miles away.
